A contract position is available for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) to provide teletherapy services within K-12 educational settings in Mobile, AL. This opportunity involves supporting students through telespeech and teletherapy, focusing on individual and small group interventions.
Two positions are open:
- Itinerant role covering multiple private K-12 schools.
- Dedicated position serving students in kindergarten through 5th grade at an elementary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy sessions to students with speech and language delays or disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school personnel.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Current licensure with the Alabama Board of Speech Examiners and active license for the state of residence.
- Experience providing teletherapy services in educational environments is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation.
Position Details:
- Contract duration: March 2026 through May 29, 2026.
- Approximately 35 hours per week.
- Commitment to the school calendar year with potential for extension.
